Hannah & Jack’s Rustic Blue & White Wedding

Hannah and Jack celebrated their wedding day at the charming Collingwood Children’s Farm located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. The couple's vision of a rustic and relaxed wedding came to life amidst the picturesque natural backdrop of the farm, with tranquil grassy fields, animals grazing nearby, and original barn and stables creating an idyllic setting for their special day.

The floral focus of their ceremony was a breathtaking square-shaped arbour adorned with blue hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, and pops of baby’s breath, with lush eucalyptus leaves, trailing ivy, and fine fern. Set against a backdrop of luscious trees, the stunning arbour captured the essence of rustic elegance. Guests were greeted by a floral-clad welcome sign as they arrived at the outdoor ceremony, mingling under sun umbrellas in the serene surroundings of the Stables Paddock, with the Yarra River meandering peacefully behind them.Hannah was radiant in her off-the-shoulder gown with a delicately beaded veil carrying a naturally-styled bouquet of blue and white hydrangeas, lisianthus, Queen Anne’s lace, roses, delphiniums, and eucalyptus gum leaves. The bridesmaids, dressed in white, carried bouquets to match the bride. Jack and the groomsmen looked dapper in black suits over very pale blue shirts, finished with bow ties and floral buttonholes of blue hydrangea with gum leaves. The cocktail-style reception was held in The Barn, a venue filled with rustic charm. The space was adorned with blue delphiniums, hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus, and masses of eucalyptus branches enhanced by the warm glow of ambient candlelight. Floral arrangements decorated wine barrels which doubled as cocktail tables, a grazing table loaded with delectable eats, and the cake, which was elegantly adorned with a cascade of blue hydrangeas. Spectacular flower bombs of trailing botanicals to match were suspended from the rafters, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Hannah and Jack added their personal touch to the decor by incorporating cane furniture and rugs, creating cozy lounge areas within the barn's rustic, straw-strewn floor.Hannah & Jack said of their wedding day:

“We had the best day, and we couldn't have been happier with the way the florals turned out. We got so many comments from guests!”

Congratulations, Hannah & Jack, and thank you for having us execute your wedding day vision. Photography by Odd Socks Society
