A Very Special Private Event
When we were approached by one of our clients to botanically style a special milestone event held in their family home, we just knew we had to be a part of it!
The evening was to mirror the vibrancy and liveliness of a New Orleans Mardi Gras, and our beautiful blooms were to reflect this exciting concept. The event consisted of three stages, the first being an introduction to the evening ahead in the front yard, complete with a live jazz band and acrobats performing through the crowd. Pockets of bright blooms were displayed throughout this space hinting at the extravaganza to come.
Following the arrival of all guests, a marching band procession led guests through to the main event space which was awash with vibrant florals, lush greens and candlelight creating a moody atmosphere. We created a spectacular three-dimensional sculptural wall installation which consisted of heavily grouped botanicals to wow guests. A live chef was creating a visual feast of delicious platters which were accompanied by a luscious trailing floral garland, and wait staff were made up in traditional Mardi Gras make up to complement the theme of the night.
For those willing to continue the party, the final stage of the evening consisted of dancing the night away and enjoy the finer things in life at a cheese and wine station in the cellar. Oh, what a night!
