Georgie & Jack’s Colourful Non-Traditional Wedding

In a world where wedding traditions are often revered, there is something undeniably refreshing about a celebration that boldly embraces the unconventional. Welcome to the wedding of Georgie and Jack, a bright, fun, and vibrant affair that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

From the outset, it was clear that Georgie & Jack’s wedding would be anything but traditional. They envisioned a riot of colour, a colourful celebration bursting with life, where every detail spoke volumes about their unique love story. As guests arrived at the St Kilda Botanic Gardens in the late afternoon sun, they were greeted by a picture-perfect scene. Exquisite floral pillars adorned with an abundance of blousy garden roses, glossy anthuriums, textural celosia, and cascading green peppercorn berries created a breathtaking backdrop against the tranquil lake setting.

The bride and bridesmaids were a vision of bold elegance as they joined Jack and the guests at the gardens on the cusp of golden hour. Georgie was radiant in her ruffled pink Aje gown and playful bright orange heels, whilst Jack wore his pink suit jacket with quiet confidence. The bridesmaids followed suit each wearing a red and soft pink mini-dress with puff sleeves and carrying a vibrant bouquet of garden roses, imported peonies, and dancing lady orchids in a kaleidoscope of hot pinks, tangerine, fire engine red, and peach with hints of yellow.

Following the ceremony, the bridal party were treated to a portrait session that doubled as cocktail hour, with the group raising a toast to love, laughter, and happily ever after. For guests, the festivities continued at Elwood Bathers, where a cocktail reception and a gorgeous vintage buttercream cake awaited. Against the backdrop of pops of bright and playful blooms, guests mingled and laughed the night away, swept up in the infectious energy of the evening.

The couple’s feedback was nothing but glowing:

“Thank you so much for all your help. You made it all so easy and the flowers were absolutely stunning. The flowers were so beautiful and worked so well with everything we wanted for our wedding.”

Georgie and Jack’s non-traditional wedding served as a reminder that love knows no bounds, and that sometimes, the most memorable moments are the ones that dare to defy expectations. Thank you, Georgie and Jack, for allowing us to style your beautiful wedding flowers and may your journey be as bold and vibrant as your wedding day!
