Grace & Sean’s Vibrant Summer Wedding
Some weddings are simply unforgettable, and Grace and Sean’s summer celebration was one of them. A day filled with love, laughter, and an explosion of vibrant florals, their wedding was a true feast for the senses. We were honoured to bring their floral vision to life, creating a colourful and romantic setting for their special day.
A Classic Ceremony with a Joyful Exit
Grace and Sean exchanged vows in a beautiful church ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. The moment they stepped outside as newlyweds, they were met with a breathtaking shower of multi-coloured rose petals—a joyous start to their next chapter together.
Grace looked radiant in her delicately beaded gown, holding a bouquet bursting with hot pink, orange, and red roses. Her bridesmaids, dressed in elegant champagne-hued gowns, carried monochromatic rose bouquets in shades pulled from Grace’s vibrant arrangement. Sean, ever the classic groom, looked dapper in a black suit and bow tie, the perfect complement to his glowing bride.
A Reception in Full Bloom
The celebration continued at Alto, a stunning temporary structure set within the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria on Dog Flat Lawn. Overlooking a serene lake, this space—characterised by soaring ceilings and framed glass panels—was bathed in natural light, evoking the elegance of mid-century modern architecture.
As guests arrived, they were welcomed by Grace and Sean, who stood before a mirrored welcome sign framed in ornate gold. Behind them, towering floral arrangements stood proudly, featuring a lush medley of multi-coloured roses, dahlias, cascading hanging amaranths, and rich, contrasting foliage. These arrangements, suspended within sleek, black-framed stands, set the tone for the vibrant and sophisticated evening ahead.
Inside the reception, four long tables were adorned with a series of clear glass bud vases, each holding a single rose in shades of hot pink, orange, and red. Napkins in the same bold hues added to the striking visual impact, creating a seamless and vibrant tablescape. The couple sat amongst their guests, sharing laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a mouthwatering meal catered by Curtis Stone Events.
Dancing Under a Floral Canopy
As night fell, a canopy of lush foliage and bold, colourful blooms created an enchanting atmosphere. Beneath this floral masterpiece, Grace, Sean, and their loved ones danced the night away, celebrating a love as bright and joyful as the flowers that surrounded them.
It was an honour to be a part of this spectacular day, and we’re beyond thrilled that Grace and Sean loved our work:
"Victoria and team did the most amazing job at my wedding. They made our ceremony and reception venues absolutely beautiful, and no task was too great to achieve. Victoria is so creative and knowledgeable and brought our vision to life!” – Grace
Grace and Sean’s wedding was a true testament to the beauty of bold colour, modern elegance, and pure love. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
