Loren & Jason’s Lakeside Winter Wedding

On a stunning winter's day, under blue skies and bright sunshine, Loren and Jason celebrated their love for each other. Their special day began with a heartwarming tea ceremony at home shared with both families, honouring cultural tradition and the joining of two families.The wedding ceremony took place outdoors at Melbourne’s iconic Carousel, overlooking the picturesque Albert Park Lake. Loren looked radiant as she walked the aisle, her gown featuring a delicate lace bodice and flowing skirt. Her wedding day look was finished with a full-length veil and delicate baby’s breath florets in her hair. The bride and her bridesmaids carried elegant bouquets of white and blush pink reflexed roses, perfectly complementing Jason and his groomsmen’s simple yet classic rose buttonholes.

The ceremony backdrop was a stunning pair of floral pillars backing on to the lake and city skyline beyond. The feature arrangements were crafted from a mix of high-quality faux botanicals including luscious foliages adorned with white and blush roses and hydrangea, subtle hints of burgundy bougainvillea, and a topping of fresh, scented, long leaf gum foliage.

As the day progressed, Loren and Jason sat among their guests for a beautiful reception. The fresh floral centrepieces were arranged in elongated glass vessels, overflowing with eucalyptus gum foliages, fragrant stock, cymbidium orchids, snapdragons, and delicate native thryptomene. Twinkling candles intertwined with long-leaf gum foliage on the tabletop added a romantic glow to the atmosphere, perfectly matching the two-tiered cake adorned with the same floral elements.
