Emily and Matt’s Summer Wedding at Polperro Winery
Set among the vineyards and magnificent gum trees of Red Hill, Emily and Matt’s summer wedding at Polperro Winery was warm, elegant and filled with thoughtful personal details.
The floral palette combined classic white and green with soft blush and touches of burnt orange, creating a naturally beautiful design that complemented the landscape of the Mornington Peninsula.

Romantic Summer Wedding Flowers
Emily’s bridal bouquet featured white roses, soft blush Claire David Austin roses and cascading white phalaenopsis orchids and buds. Burnt orange vanda orchids introduced warmth and depth, creating a beautiful contrast against her white gown.
The bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets with touches of burnt orange to complement their chocolate-coloured dresses, while Matt wore a classic black tuxedo finished with an extravagant white floral buttonhole.

Matching buttonholes were created for the men in the family, with delicate wrist corsages designed for the mothers.
One of the most meaningful floral details was created for Matt’s sister, Hannah. Her wheelchair was beautifully adorned with white phalaenopsis orchids, burnt orange vanda orchids, roses, hydrangea and cascading greenery, allowing it to become part of the floral story of the day.

A Vineyard Ceremony at Polperro Winery
The couple exchanged vows outdoors beneath the towering gum trees, surrounded by the vineyards of Polperro Winery.
Abundant white and green floral arrangements were styled upon rustic wine barrels on either side of the couple. Hydrangea, roses, orchids, delphinium and cascading botanicals created a romantic frame while remaining beautifully connected to the natural Red Hill landscape.
Following the ceremony, Emily and Matt walked back down the aisle beneath a joyful shower of white rose petals.

A Warm and Elegant Reception
Inside the reception, guests were seated together at long tables, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Naturally styled arrangements of white and green flowers were accented with burnt orange blooms and displayed in ceramic vessels along the tables. The arrangements alternated with elegant black candle holders and tall white candles, bringing height, warmth and soft illumination to the room.
The flowers carried the colours and textures of the ceremony into the reception while complementing the venue’s dark timber, black bentwood chairs and relaxed vineyard setting.
Emily and Matt’s Polperro Winery wedding was a beautiful example of how colour, seasonality and thoughtful floral design can create a celebration that feels personal, refined and connected to its surroundings.
